I am a professor at Union University, where I teach in the Department of Languages, Literature, and Writing and in the Honors program. I earned my graduate degrees at Harvard University and have been a research fellow at Oxford University, at the Huntington Library, and at the University of Tennessee’s Marco Institute. I’ve spoken at places such as Harvard and Cambridge, Baylor and Duke, the Warburg Institute in London and the Gould Center in Claremont, and my essays have appeared in publications such as the Los Angeles Review of Books, ELH, Christianity and Literature, the Journal of Medieval and Early Modern Studies, and The Cresset.
